Fall League
Fall Instructional League
We are excited to announce that the Fall Instructional League has been
completely redesigned for 2010. Willowbrook has partnered with the Tornados to
jointly run the competitive portion of the League, which is open to all area clubs. In addition, the league has
been expanded to six weeks. This will result in better training and competition
for all developing players, city-wide. Read on for more details!
The Fall League is a six-week program, meeting two times a week, that
will combine individual training and team play. This program is designed
for beginning, intermediate, and advanced 2nd-7th grade volleyball players
who are interested in growing their knowledge of the game. School groups
are also encouraged to join and improve their game together.
This league is designed around Willowbrook's philosophy of technical training while still having fun! The league will concentrate on the basic skills of individual and team play, player roles and court responsibilities. The players will learn and be drilled on the fundamental skills that are necessary to become a good volleyball player.
The program is structured around one practice session during the week, followed by competitive league play on Sundays. The practices and competition nights will be run by experienced coaches assisted by local high school volleyball players and Willowbrook players.
Come join the Fall Instructional Volleyball League and work to become a fundamentally sound volleyball player while having fun in the process!
